Deal stages are the steps in your sales process, from initial contact to closed deal. To set up your deal stages, go to the Deals tab in ActiveCampaign and click on the "Add a Stage" button. From there, you can create, edit, and reorder your deal stages as needed.

Once you have your deal stages set up, you can create an automation to automatically move deals through the stages.
To create an automation, go to the Automations tab in ActiveCampaign and click on the "Create an Automation" button. Choose "Start from Scratch" and give your automation a name.

Next, you need to define the trigger that will start the automation. In this case, you can select any of the trigger that help you to automate your process.
For example, if someone schedules a call with your team, based on one specific ActiveCampaign Tag, you can select that behavior as a trigger in your automation. Then, the next step will be move that Deal to a new specific Stage, the stage that you want.
Think correctly about the triggers that you want to use to start your automation every time.
Now that you've defined your trigger, it's time to set up the automation.
Click on the "Add Action" button and choose "Update a Stage". Select the stage you want to move the deal to and click "Save".
You can also add additional actions to the automation, such as sending an email or creating a task.

Once you've set up your automation, it's important to test it to make sure it's working correctly. Create a test deal and move it through the stages to see if the automation triggers and moves the deal to the correct stage. If everything looks good, you can start using the automation with your real deals.
